If you or someone you are taking care of suffers from chronic pain and illness, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the life-changing benefits of medical marijuana.

What is the Illinois Cannabis Education Expo?

We are so excited to announce that Gracie Gean Chronic Pain Advocacy and Consulting will be hosting this year’s inaugural Illinois Cannabis Education Expo. The event will be held on Sunday, April 22nd from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel in Northbrook, IL. If you suffer from any form of chronic pain or are a caretaker for someone suffering from chronic pain or other ailments, we encourage you to come learn more about how medical cannabis therapy can help you find the relief you have been searching for.

This educational medical marijuana event is going to be jam-packed with industry professionals giving presentations, as well as a full exhibition hall where members of the medical cannabis industry will have booths featuring their THC and CBD products so you can ask questions and get answers in real-time, straight from the source. Additionally, there will be physicians in attendance for guests to consult with about whether they qualify for a medical marijuana card in the state of Illinois.

Network with Others Dealing with Chronic Pain

Along with having the chance to meet with medicinal marijuana experts and physicians, guests also have the chance to network with each other and make new connections within the local medical cannabis community. When you are in the midst of combating a chronic illness or persistent pain, it can feel like you are all alone, and that no one else really understands what you’re going through. Having the chance to meet with other people who can honestly relate to what you’re experiencing is therapeutic in and of itself.

Courses for Physicians, Nurses, and Social Workers

The Illinois Cannabis Education Expo is the first in the state to offer three medical cannabis CME courses for the physicians, conducted by Dr. Jay Joshi of National Pain Centers. For nurses and social workers, they are offering three CEU sessions, conducted by Mahja Sulemanjee Bortocek of The Greenhouse Group/Grassroots Cannabis. These educational courses are priced separately and are not included in the cost of general admission, but you can conveniently purchase tickets when you buy your general admission pass here.
